Overview
If you have your own mTLS requirements for Knot events to your webhook endpoint, you can request that Knot generate a private key and CSR file. In this case, you should be aware of Knot's certificate rotation policy, as outlined below.
Key Rotation Schedule
Server certificates are rotated up to every 24 months with a standard rotation to align with security and compliance requirements. Notification will be sent to you 30 days prior to scheduled rotation date when the new certificate is available.
Environment Instructions
Rotation applies to production and non-production environments as applicable.
Certificate Distribution Process
New server certificates will be provided over email within the notification timeline. You must retrieve and install the new certificate before the rotation date to avoid disruptions.
